About

The energy of Lee-Anne’s inspired spirit has taken many forms over time. Born in South Africa to traveling musician parents, Lee-Anne has spent the majority of her life in the Bay Area. She attended to San Francisco State University and earned a degree in Liberal Arts hoping to be a teacher, but she continued to gravitate towards creative expression. After several fashion shows with the Cloud Factory Design Collective (CFDC), Lee-Anne discovered the healing arts and practiced massage therapy for several years.  During that time, she was accepted into graduate school at San Jose State University where she earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.  Throughout her education and building a career, she has maintained a passion for the visual and performing arts.

Photography has been a way to express the beauty she sees in the world. Having traveled to 20 countries, Lee-Anne finds inspiration from the composition of landscapes and architecture from all over the world. As co-owner of Illumination Photography, an event/wedding photography business, Lee-Anne loves capturing a person’s spirit with headshots, newborn, and family portraiture.

Lee-Anne settled down in Oakland, CA where she lives with her husband and son.
